A special thank you goes out to the Bob Reese family of Canton, Tx. who graciously donate all the flags you see on the Memorial Plaza. In 2014 the son’s and daughter of 1st Lt. Robert A. “Bob” Reese got together and wanted to do something to honor their dad and to support the Memorial. Eventually the family wanted to have multiple flag poles for each branch of the military. Robert’s two sons Andy and Bob and daughter Dorie Hilliard graciously donate the flags for the county memorial. A plaque honoring their father is at the base of the Plaza Flag Pole.
